If you know anything about star signs then you will know what sort of personality I possess. I am Sagittarius and both the good and not so good descriptions are me to a tee. Since 1995 I have been an authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant and have conducted hundreds of weddings, funerals and Naming of Babies. I became a trainer of future celebrants and have always had fun at my courses. I like to laugh and laughing with my students makes teaching and learning a lot more pleasurable. I now train celebrants in Ongoing Professional Development which is a requirement of the Commonwealth Attorney General's Department. I live in a 1950s style house which my husband built with a hammer. saw and nails (no electric things around in those days). I went to University when Mr Whitlam introduced free education for adults so I am a late starter in being educated (I wonder if I am?)
I enjoy exploring new things and trying out new adventures. I was widowed 2006 and in 2009 I decided it was the right time for me to drive around the country and see places that I have been too busy in past times to visit. So with that in mind I decided to buy a campervan. I thought that it would be suitable and looked around for one. After a lot of false starts I found what I thought would be fine for me. And it was: for about six months and then I realised that it was too small for my dog and me, especially in the wet weather. So again I decided to buy a bigger one. Of course the cost of bigger vans was a bit out of my monetary reach so I settled on an older van and not too expensive. So I was off to a good start and I commenced my Big Adventure by travelling around to various country towns. My latest Big Adventure has been to go to Young (via Yass) and then to Hay and on to Echuca before stopping at the big CMCA rally in Deliniquin. Across country Victoria into Albury and then on to Gundagai. More about me later.
